Woodland Cottage

This 530 sq ft newly renovated open concept cottage is nestled amidst towering redwoods, inviting you to reconnect with nature.  Just 10 mins south of Mendocino Village, you’ll be perfectly positioned to experience all the area has to offer!  Whether you spend your days exploring or simply stay put and meander our creekside trail, lasting memories are guaranteed! 

The cottage features many thoughtful and cozy amenities such as a pillow-top queen (murphy) bed in the living area as well as a double mattress in the loft. We use 100% cotton bedding and towels and the kitchen is fully equipped for any culinary endeavor. The inside bathroom has a shower but if you prefer a soak, there is a fully plumbed claw-footed tub outside, nestled amidst the redwoods. 

The fully fenced back area allows for your pup's enjoyment and safety while you lounge or bbq on the wrap around deck. PLEASE NOTE that pricing is based on double occupancy, and one queen bed.  If you plan to utilize the loft bed, make sure to note this in your reservation request so we can ensure it's made up for you. An additional $25 cleaning fee will apply if the loft area is used. You have 100% access to the cabin, backyard and deck, parking area and trails below leading to the creek. 

There is a 2 bedroom rental property (the Woodland Retreat) adjacent to the cabin so, although there are no shared spaces (besides the parking area), the main house is visible as it sits approximately 75 ft from cabin (see photo in listing).  Your hosts, Amy and Barry, live five houses down the road and will happily respond to any questions or needs during your visit!
